Marco V Morelli, Chief Creative Organizer

The principal founder of Cosmos Cooperative, Marco is a poet, writer, editor, and publisher by vocation. Born in New York City to immigrant parents from El Salvador and Italy, he completed his undergraduate studies at Binghamton University with a double major in Philosophy and Comparative Literature. He worked with Ken Wilber’s Integral Institute from 2003-2007, co-authoring the book Integral Life Practice. He is the author of I AM THE SINGULARITY, a book of visionary poetry forthcoming from Untimely Books in late 2025. As founder and long-time leader of Cosmos Cooperative and its “constellations”—Untimely Books, Metapsychosis journal, and Infinite Conversations—Marco was instrumental in attracting a wide support base, publishing 8 books (with 26 more currently in development), producing over 500 online features, hosted 300+ virtual events, and organized a dozen local creative showcases and community gatherings in Colorado. His role is to cultivate Creative members and their works, and oversee the development of benefits, services, and opportunities accessible to Creatives.

Caroline “C” Savery, Chief Executive Organizer

Co-founder of Cosmos 2017-2019), Caroline or “C” is an avid cooperator and cooperative business developer, working to support a diverse array of start-up co-ops, nonprofits, and social enterprises over the course of her dynamic 15 year career. Trained extensively in film producing and directing, she fell in love with the transformative power of collaborative teams and equitable decision-making, and launched a career in developing co-ops. An experienced project manager, in recent years she has served as the interrim executive director of several nonprofits, and co-teaches social permaculture which analyzes organizations and social movements from a living systems lens. She is also a ritual artist, mystic, and philosopher behind the work Fractal Praxis. Her role is to weave together Cosmos’ operations, strategy, and talent to ensure its wellbeing and thriving as a co-op business.

Colin Karewa Forbes, Chief Financial Organizer

Colin Karewa Forbes is a seasoned financial executive with over 35 years of experience in accounting, procurement, and business management across nonprofit, international, and emerging tech sectors. He has served as CFO/COO for multiple 501(c)(3) organizations—including in education, cryptocurrency, and addiction recovery—and helped scale private ventures from startup to $180M+ in global revenue. Colin is known for building resilient financial systems, managing complex logistics, and guiding mission-driven organizations toward operational coherence, also bringing experience in decentralized finance through his work with Nexus cryptocurrency. As a writer and teacher of Oneness Awareness, Colin integrates spiritual insight with financial discipline, bringing a rare depth to cooperative economic design. His role is to help design, build, and steward Cosmos’ essential financial structures, policies, and plans, toward organizational sustainability and the wellbeing of all.

Ellen Cool, Community Coordinator

Dr. Ellen Cool, PhD, is a lifelong futurist, environmentalist, transpersonal educator, movement specialist, and integral human dedicated to fostering transformative community. She earned her doctorate in Transformative Studies and Consciousness from the California Institute of Integral Studies (2024), following her master’s in Somatic Psychology from Antioch University. Her doctoral work, Dancing Between Paradigms, explores early childhood as a gateway to societal transformation. Ellen has been involved with Cosmos on and off for almost a decade, and now that she is retired, she is focused on network weaving—connecting individuals and organizations devoted to social and cultural evolution. As Community Coordinator, Ellen nurtures people’s connection and engagement with Cosmos Co-op.

Geoffreyjen Edwards, Editor-in-Chief, Untimely Books

Before becoming a science-fiction writer, Dr. Geoffreyjen Edwards led a successful career as a full-time scientist during which they published over 250 scientific papers. Indeed, they populate the world-building in their novels by drawing on experience in fields as diverse as astrophysics, artificial intelligence, geomatics, design, disability studies and the performing arts. They have read widely and have brought this breadth to their involvement with Cosmos Coop, both as a participant in numerous reading groups and as a leader/animator. In addition to writing an ambitious 15 book science fiction saga, they are now Editor-in-chief of Untimely Books, the coop’s book imprint. They are a senior editor for Metapsychosis as well as the Synergy Circle for Cosmos Co-op. They live in Quebec City, Canada, where they indulge in a penchant for fashion design, with three collections to their credit, as well as the occasional illustration. 


Staff & Organizers

Kayla Morelli, Lead Designer & Administrator Extraordinaire

Kayla Morelli is a graphic designer and illustrator with 25 years of professional experience, serving as a founding member and design lead of Cosmos Cooperative since 2016. She holds a BFA in Illustration and has been instrumental in establishing Cosmos’s visual identity and digital infrastructure. As lead designer, she has created the covers and interior layouts for all 8 published titles under Untimely Books, while designing and maintaining the complete suite of Cosmos websites including Cosmos.Coop, Metapsychosis.com, and UntimelyBooks.com. In addition to her design leadership, Kayla has managed Cosmos’s financial operations and bookkeeping, ensuring fiscal integrity during the organization’s foundational years. Her contributions span the full spectrum of Cosmos’s operations—from visual design and web development to financial management and operational support—making her an essential architect of the cooperative’s infrastructure and growth.

Sreedevi Bringi, Colorado Local Hub Community Organizer

Sreedevi Bringi is a retired faculty member of Naropa University, cofounder of their Yoga Studies program, and scholar-practitioner of Yoga, Sanskrit, and Hindu spirituality. A lifelong educator and performer, Sreedevi integrates her background in contemplative Hinduism and Yoga Studies with her passion for creative expression. Sreedevi is a popular presenter at several yoga festivals and yoga teacher trainings, and contributing author in an anthology textbook, Beacons of Dharma (2019), writing an invited chapter about Amma, the charismatic ‘hugging saint’ of India. Sreedevi’s website offers yoga nidra meditations, Hindu deity teachings Sanskrit mantras, chants and Goddess puja. 

At Cosmos Co-op, she serves as a community organizer, curating multicultural programming that bridges art, spirit, and community. In 2025 she coordinated performances, author events, and cross-cultural collaborations—including monthly Stellar Sundays gatherings, an eight-city author tour for Untimely Books writer Andrea van de Loo, and a Diwali festival at Naropa University. 

Marketing

Skye Pratt, Marketing Director and Managing Editor of Cosmos.coop

Skye Pratt has worked in publishing for more than 12 years, including the past decade as a news editor and journalist. In addition to her editorial career, she is a painter, photographer, and avid traveler. She has worked with News Media Corporation as the front-page reporter for the Paso Press newspaper and as a feature contributor to Vino magazine. She has also been a longtime contributing editor with Access Publishing, working on the Paso Robles Daily News, A-Town Daily News for Atascadero, and the San Luis Obispo County Visitor’s Guide magazine. 

Her work has included interviews with Ziggy Marley, David Crosby of Crosby, Stills & Nash, and Joe Perry of Aerosmith. One of her investigative stories, about a vineyard clear-cutting an old-growth oak forest, aired on a local NPR affiliate in California and was later picked up nationally. The resulting public response led to a county law change prohibiting oak forest clearcutting.

She runs a YouTube art channel, Paint Along With Skye, with nearly 25,000 subscribers, and manages a collective audience of more than 300,000 monthly readers through her publishing contracts and personal channel. Skye also currently volunteers with the ENGin language tutoring program, which provides free English lessons to Ukrainians affected by the war. She values global connection and understanding and holds that humanity is inherently cooperative and loving. She believes our challenge is to live together in ways that reflect those values.

Maya Kaspi, Social Media Manager

Maya Kaspi got her start in social media marketer and lover of music, social justice, and human development. With a bachelor’s degree in human development, Maya helped share the gift of music with the nonprofit Playing For Change. She then went on to spend 3 years as a Digital Marketing Manager at Crowd Surf where she ran social media accounts for musicians with millions of followers, such as Donny Osmond, Why Don’t We, and Loren Gray. She was nominated for a marketing award with a campaign for Donny Osmond’s 50 Years of Puppy Love. She now has her own company called the Blueprint Stan Experience where she focuses on ways to improve the concert experience for fans by building an app, running a thrift shop and planning fan events. She is pleased to bring her social media expertise to help build a community and online presence for Cosmos.

Infinite Conversations

Comet Thanatos, Forum Host & Tech Support

Harnessing a wide background in art, design, technology, and literature, Comet is a passionate problem-solver and helpful friendly presence on Infinite Conversations. Leveraging 25 years of computer proficiency, 20 years of experience in Visual Arts, and 14 years of direct customer service, they provide confident, effective, and innovative support to clients and colleagues alike. They are currently training with a mentor to become a Computer Networking Specialist, and spend their free time partaking of literature, music, poetry, and video games, and honing their artistic crafts.

Frances Allen, Data Maven

Frances Allen (aka Ana Graham) is an independent researcher, traditional astrologer, and artist. Her interest in astrology started with a deep fascination with systems demarcating periods of time. Moving from clocks and sundials to astronomy and astrology, she sometimes keeps digital house at www.hauteknights.art writing about upcoming astrological transits and other other topics that align with the times. Metapsychosis

Nikoletta Gjoni, Managing Editor

Nikoletta Gjoni is a writer and editor living outside of Washington, D.C. In her junior year of undergraduate studies, she was one of thirteen Undergraduate Research Award Scholars selected for her thesis, for which she traveled to her birth country of Albania to research and interview Albania’s most celebrated author, Ismail Kadare. Since then, much of her work has delved into myth and folklore, historical fiction, and family lore and dynamics. Her work has been published in Atticus Review, Emerson Review, Alan Squire Publishing,The Ex-Puritan, and Cleaver Magazine, among others. Her story, The Obscure Historical Sorrows of Canines, was shortlisted for various contests, including Uncharted Magazine’s Cinematic Short Story prize, American Short Fiction’s Halifax Ranch prize, and The Masters Review’s Best Emerging Writers anthology, being among the top 3% of submissions considered. Her work has appeared in the 2023 Rising Stars London Independent Story Prize anthology and has been previously nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story prize, Best of the Net, and Best Microfiction. She was a 2024 scholarship recipient for the Salty Quill Women’s Writers Retreat in Maine and will be a 2026 resident at the Chateau d’Orquevaux artist residency. Mary Thaler, Senior Editor

Mary Thaler lives in Quebec City, Canada, where she works as a scientific editor, writer, translator, and zine-maker. Her verse novella, Ulfhildr, was published by Untimely Books, and her short fiction has appeared in literary journals including carte-blanche and The New Quarterly. Brian George, Senior Editor

Brian George is the author of five books of poetry and two books of essays, the first of which, Masks of Origin: Regression in the Service of Omnipotence, was published by Untimely Books in 2022. Other forthcoming titles include X: Revenge of the Autogenes; Voyage to a Nonexistent Home; My Longing Grows as I Approach: Through the Keyhole of the Eon; Maps of the Metaphysical Double: In the Footprints of de Chirico; To Akasha: An Incantation for the Crossing of an Ocean, and The Preexistent Race Descends. He is a graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, an exhibited artist and former art teacher, a former member of the Boston Visionary Cell, and a former organizer for Evolver Boston. He was a founding member of MAAP SPACE, a multimedia performance series, as well as of the Revolving Arts Salon, and the current Cedar Square Arts Salon. He studied Taoist meditation for five years with traditional Chinese healer and martial artist Dennis Wilmont, and he received Shaktipat—an initiation in Kundalini Yoga—from Anandi Ma in 1990, an event he credits with catalyzing all later spiritual and creative growth. He has published in Dark Mountain, Metapsychosis, Scene4: International Magazine of Arts and Culture, Reality Sandwich, Modern Mythology, The Finch, Shell, Riesenstrasse, and in his own blog Masks of Origin, as well as in the anthologies Apocalyptic Imaginary and The Immanence of Myth. He often tells people first discovering his work that his goal is not so much to be read as to be reread, and then lived with.
